MIKE SEERGY

Mike is an automotive industry expert. He has a long legacy in all aspects of the business, having co-founded Vanguard Dealer Services and leading one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers. His latest venture, SideKick Technology, has created and patented technology that serve the OEM, the dealers, and the consumer.

As the co-founder and partner of Vanguard Dealer Services, he built the leading agent marketer and administrator of automotive finance and insurance products. Vanguard was acquired in Sept. 2019.

Before Vanguard, Mike led the Priceline effort into retail automotive commerce. Mike spent years in leadership positions at automotive manufacturers, including Nissan, where he was the U.S. head of Nissan Division. Mike was responsible for all Nissan Division activity in the U.S. and led efforts to introduce new products. Mike reduced operating costs and enhanced product sales mix which resulted in a $1B improvement in NNA profits. Before Nissan, Mike held senior management positions at Ford Motor Company and Hyundai Motor America.

Mike is formerly an Adjunct Professor of Strategic Management at Montclair State University, A Trustee at St. Barnabas Medical Center, The Link School, The Catholic Medical Mission Board, Chair of the Board of Blink Now and a member of The Board of Visitors of The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Georgetown University.

Mike received a B.S. in Accounting at Manhattan College Bronx, NY, and an MBA in Marketing from the Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University. Mike has also participated in post graduate studies at UCLA, Harvard University and the Center for Strategic Leadership.
